It’s Been Raining Every Morning
Anyway, this situation is expected to happen as according to our weather agency (BMKG) January and February 2010 is estimated to be the peak of the rainy season. Rain will fall in no time, both the scale of mild, moderate to heavy. Earlier this week the agency also issued warning of lightnings and strong winds during rain in Jakarta and its surrounding areas for the next few days. Residents are to be alert of extreme weather change at least until January 17th. Oh it’s gonna be a challenge to go to the office in the morning!

Rain’s Jakarta Concert
It was one big event for Korean drama/celebrity lovers in Jakarta. Rain, the top Korean hip hop singer, came to Jakarta on his Asia Tour and held a concert last Thursday, December 3rd, 2009 at JITEC Mangga Dua.
I have to admit I’m a big fan of him, fell in love with him since his drama series “Full House” few years back. Though I don’t follow Korean drama religiously as I used to, I still occasionally buy his DVD movies or CD album. Feel like teenagers again, lol.

I was really tempted to go to the concert, it must be fun to join the clouds, but decided not to. Couldn’t leave my baby. Hopefully there will be a DVD of his concert in Jakarta soon
Anyway, here’s a clip from his concert last Thursday.
When The Nature Is Not At Your Side
This is the follow up of my last post. As mentioned I’ve been busy taking care of my mom’s renovation plan. Date has been set, the renovation will be started on Monday. Plan for this weekend is packing and moving some of my mom’s furniture and other stuff temporarily to a rented house. We can only move some of them since my mom has a lot of big and heavy furniture, it will cost a lot of work (and money) if we try to move them all.
We already got the rented house we need. It’s a bit expensive but big enough to fit the furniture and only 5 minutes drive from my mom’s house so I thought it’s still ok. We called a car rental and booked a truck for today and tomorrow. Also we arranged some people to come and help with the packing and moving job for today and tomorrow. We are so on schedule
(I thought).
Then it happened… rain! Not just rain, it’s a heavy long hour rain. It’s been happening since the last two days now, rain falls every day. But it’s June, aren’t we supposed to be in dry season? What happen if we continue having rain for the next couple of weeks? I can’t (or don’t want to) imagine it because we’re going to remodel the roof and if heavy rain falls the second floor will be flooded! Should I delay the almost perfect plan? Oh!

Is It Rainy Season Already?
It doesn’t seem right, May is not over yet but it’s been raining every day since last week. And it looks like the rain will continue falling in the next few days.
Weather forecast for next week
How come? We’re not supposed to have rain at least until August, so they’re about two months early. By the way, occasional storm means heavy rain plus a lot of lightning and thunders.
I feel sorry for my son if it continue like this. His school year will be over soon, followed by one and a half month holiday. Poor him, he’ll be boring if he has to stay home because of the rain. And poor my mom if she has to be stuck with a boring four year old boy the whole holiday
