I got another malware alert from Avast this morning when I was in a hurry trying to finish up my dropping. Unfortunately, I didn’t know which blogs had this malware because I had several blogs opened at the time. Should I had known it, I would inform the blog owners because most likely, according to this, it was another malware attack to WP sites hosted on GoDaddy. So if your blog is on GD better be careful because the attack still continue…
And maybe this and this can help you to identify the malware.
I have to say, “I’m glad my blogs are not on GD”
And oh did you see bats flying around when dropping EC? I saw them, five times to be exact…

Two posts last month and not a single post until the third week of this month. Hmm… not a good record for a blog! I’m beginning to think that maintaining two blogs is not as easy as I thought. However, I just renewed my domain last month and two weeks ago I also extended my hosting plan for another year. So I guess this blog is still running, and hopefully I’ll be more active posting
Today was the day to clean up my spam folder. It becomes my routine to get rid of spams every time I saw their numbers already exceeded the amount of real comments. And shame on me, I was almost fooled by spammers today.
As usual those spams mostly contained a bunch of unreadable characters, or some foreign languages with “cialis” and “viagra” mentioned several times, or the endless “I bookmarked your blog” comments. However, today I also saw few familiar comments among those spams, comments that were previously approved and published. So I thought they were accidentally being marked as spam and (without thinking twice) I just re-approved them.
It took awhile for me to realize something was wrong (yes I was slow, thankfully Askimet was not). I knew I made big mistakes republishing those comments when I saw a girl name was used for a guy author. Here’s the comment:
That spammer copied the content of my published comments along with the commentluv codes, but somehow failed to get the original author’s name, and resubmitted them. I wonder if this will become a trend for them.
Anyway, so I ended up finding those recently republished comments, remarked them as spam then deleted them. Luckily they were all under two names, Amy and Michelle (why use girl names by the way), so it was easy enough for me to find them back. I wonder if there’s a way to kick those spammers out before they managed to leave comments because I’m getting tired deleting these spams.
On this Resurrection Sunday I want to share a video by one of my favorite gospel singers, Nicole C Mullen, singing My Redeemer Lives. It’s a wonderful song and perfect for Easter time.
This video actually isn’t in the best quality, there are other better videos found on YouTube but I like this one since it shows her singing and doing sign language at the same time. She always does that while singing this song. So watch her singing and signing and be blessed!
My Redeemer Lives ~ Nicole C Mullen
Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning
Who told the ocean you an only come this far?
Who showed the moon where to hide ’til evening
Whose words alone can catch a falling star?Well I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
All of creation testify
This life within me cries
I know my Redeemer livesThe very same God that spins things in orbit
He runs to the weary, the worn and the weak
And the same gentle hands that hold me when I’m broken
They conquered death to bring me victoryNow I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redemer lives
Let all creation testify
Let this life wihtin me cry
I know my Redeemer, He livesTo take away my shame
And He lives forever I’ll proclaim
That the payment for my sin
Was the precious life He gave
But now He’s alive
And there’s an empty grave. And I know my Redeemer, He lives
I know my Redeemer lives
Let all creation testify
This life within me cries
I know my Redeemer lives
March is always a busy month at the office. It’s time to submit the yearly tax report so everybody, especially those at finance/accounting department, is busy preparing company’s tax report. Though I’m at legal dept, somehow they manage to drag me into this crazy season. I’ve been working late lately checking documents submitted by our auditors. Oh I really wish this month to be over soon.
I also need to submit my own yearly tax report by the end of the month and up till today I still haven’t had time to meet my consultant yet. Sometimes I think it’s easier to combine my tax report with my husband’s. As a married woman I can and been advised to do that. However, since I got my own tax ID before I got married, I chose to submit my own tax report and I’m telling you it’s so time consuming and getting more complicated year by year.
I’m not sure, maybe I should reconsider the “combining” option and let my husband takes care of my tax. But the idea of him knowing every penny I make just doesn’t work for me. He knows, or at least has a general idea, about my salary, but there are other income that related to my side of family that I want to keep it for myself. Does it sound right? Does your spouse know all of your money?
