It’s Been Raining Every Morning
Anyway, this situation is expected to happen as according to our weather agency (BMKG) January and February 2010 is estimated to be the peak of the rainy season. Rain will fall in no time, both the scale of mild, moderate to heavy. Earlier this week the agency also issued warning of lightnings and strong winds during rain in Jakarta and its surrounding areas for the next few days. Residents are to be alert of extreme weather change at least until January 17th. Oh it’s gonna be a challenge to go to the office in the morning!

Thank God It’s Friday
Thank God It’s Friday! Oh it’s been long since I said those words, lol! Three months on maternity leave have made my Fridays just like another day. But not today. Starting today I’ll look forward to Fridays, knowing that I’m gonna spend time with family after five days of work.
How’s my back to office days so far? Well, I have to say I was lucky because my first day of work was at the same day with others who just came back from their New Year’s holiday. So basically every body in the office was still in “jet lag” between holiday time and working time, including my boss!
There’s not much work for us so far, except checking back what was left from last year. I even can go back early this week, except yesterday. I was stuck in the office until 7pm because of heavy rain.
Enjoy your weekend, I know I will!
WordPress 2.9: Bugs Fixed
The missed schedule errors I got with WordPress 2.9 are already fixed! After skimming through all suggested solutions in the forum, finally I found an easy way to fix the bugs.
I’m still new with WordPress and not very familiar with their codes, except for the CSS file as I often tweaking my theme. So I’m glad that I didn’t have to go through troubles to fix the bugs. All I had to do was upload the patched files for WP 2.9 (it’s in zip format) to my root directory then unzip it. It will copy three files to wp-includes folder. That’s it! All my scheduled posts (including the missed one) are now published!
Lessons learned: No need to rush to upgrade. Wait for a few weeks then check the forum whether the new update has bugs or not. It’s still ok to upgrade even if it has bugs (there’s always bugs I think) as long as they already have the solution to fix them.
I also took time to test the built-in image editor, which I think it is useful enough! The coolest feature is now I can set which part of the image I want to show using the editor!
For example, if I want to show the “published” part of the above image, I can reopen the image from the gallery and crop it. Voila here’s the result!
The original file is still intact, so I can still restore its original size. If you click on the second image, it will open the same image as the first one. A very cool feature! WordPress Rocks! Though I won’t use it too often since I hardly upload images to my WP. I prefer to use a third party to host my images so I can save my bandwidth and disc space.

Get In Shape After Having A Baby
A friend of mine recently commented on my albums on Facebook. She said something like how I still look great/amazing/gorgeous/beautiful even during pregnancy days. Note: you can choose any word you want because I forgot her exact words and it’s not really important
. Basically she complimented me. Then she continued ranting about how miserable she looked like when she was pregnant with chubby cheeks, pimples, big feet, big tummy (of course), etc.
Normally, I would take some moments to enjoy the flattery, but not this time. I immediately gave a short reply, “Thanks, that photo was taken last week!”
Yup, my friend complimented about how great I looked when pregnant based on my after-three-months-delivery picture, lol. Oh I really need to get in shape soon.
What? Oh no, you thought I would share some diet or exercise tips here? So sorry the title mislead you. This is just my rants, and a reminder for myself
.
