I couldn’t login to my Entrecard dashboard yesterday so I tried again this early morning and it worked. There were still some bugs though but at least I could drop back to the cards inside my inbox. Hopefully my drops will be counted.
Anyway, I saw two ads waiting for approval and I immediately approved them because both ads looked familiar to me. Then I realized that the second ad went under the approved paid ads column. I don’t have problems with paid ads but I thought they stopped receiving paid ads last month. Or did they just started the program again? Hmm…
Update: Logged in to entrecard this evening and the ad’s already gone. No more paid ad on my dashboard. Not sure why because I didn’t cancel the ad, it’s just gone. Hmm…
My mom had an appointment with her ophthalmologist this morning, it was her routine check-up after having cataract and glaucoma surgery last year followed by capsulotomy procedure three months ago. She’s been worried because her vision becomes blurry lately.
After seeing her OCT (optical coherence tomography) test, the ophthalmologist said she had an AMD (Age-related Macular Degeneration) disease and had to be treated with avastin or lucentis injection. The difference? Avastin costs $200 while Lucentis costs $1100. I don’t have time to check further deep about those drugs yet, when I agreed to have a lucentis injection for my mom. Hopefully I will get more information before the procedure tomorrow.
Since 3AM this Saturday morning I’ve been watching breaking news on TV about our anti-terrorist squad exchanged fire with alleged terrorists inside a house in Temanggung, Central Java, one of them was believed as the country’s most wanted man, Noordin M Top. The man has been hunted for 7 years and believed responsible for the deadly suicide bomb attacks at JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton, Jakarta, last month.
Until now the police have rounded up the house for almost 17 hours and the reporters have constantly given details about what was happening. I feel like watching an action movie only this one is real. I wish I could stay longer in front of my TV but I can’t, it’s almost 9AM now and I have something to do. Will update about this later.

Update: the shootout ended shortly after I left, around 10AM. There was only one body found in the house. Later the National Police chief said they could not yet disclose the identity of the killed man. They will announce it after DNA test result next week. Many people doubted that it was Noordin’s body, I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t him. Here’s the video of the shootout.
I hardly use ym lately. In fact, it’s been gone from my computer for almost a year until I reinstalled it a couple of days ago. Last night I was so excited when I saw my long gone friend was online, then we chatted for hours until it was almost midnight.

27 weeks pregnant (source: babycenter.com)
Everything is doing fine both me and the baby. I still go to work everyday and occasionally going on a business trip. The only difference is starting this week I will need to see my doctor before having a business trip because most of the airlines here require a doctor’s letter of permission for a woman who is 28 weeks (or more) pregnant.
I haven’t found out about the baby’s gender yet because on my last check-up to OB/GYN last month the baby’s position was blocking the view. We’ll try again this month to see if the baby will reveal his/her self
.
