Welcome Entrecard
My blog has entrecard widget now. I just found out I got their approval yesterday and I put the widget on right away. I’d been waiting for it for days and kept checking my email everyday to see if my application approved.
Apparently Entrecard didn’t send you notification email about their approval. You need to try to log in to their site to find out whether you’re approved or not. According to the stats my blog was approved since May 17th means only two days after submitting my application. Well now I’m looking forward to more visitors here.
It’s A Long Long Weekend!
Today we celebrate Ascension Day of Christ, it’s a public holiday in Indonesia, also the beginning of a very long weekend. We don’t have special plan for this long weekend, maybe we’ll just roaming around the mall as we often do since my pregnancy began.
Happy Ascension day! I can’t find a decent image for this occasion, apparently both Hallmarks or American Greetings don’t consider this as an important day. How wrong they are! Anyway I found this one.
Start From The Scratch Again
Yesterday I spent hours moving my blog to a new hosting service, mind you this is the first time I use self-hosted blog so I didn’t know much about it. I use the same local company where I bought my domain. I personally don’t like the idea of using the same company for two services altogether because if their service is suck I’ll be double wrecked.
Anyway, so far I’m quite satisfied with their service. They’re fast and promptly respond to my queries. I’m not going to credit or recommend them now since I’m still new with them, but we’ll see maybe later after few months I’ll feature them here if the service is still good.
I’m not saying that the old free hosting service is totally bad, let’s just say I wasn’t lucky because less than a month using their service my server already down several times. That was not good for I was just starting to promote this blog to some directories. But I know some bloggers who really enjoy their service.
Now that I use paid service I have to carefully plan and watch my blog size and traffic targeting because everything is limited now. I deleted some unused themes and plug ins. Anyway, for the next few days I’ll probably busy tweaking this blog again because I lost all the setting I made before. Oh I hate to start from the scratch again

Chinese Calendar Says It’s Another Boy
I was browsing for a pregnancy countdown widget the other day and found an interesting information about Chinese calendar. It says that Chinese calendar can tell about our baby’s gender based on the mother’s age and the conception month. So I entered my own data and they said it’s going to be another boy. Curiously, I entered data from my first pregnancy and it predicted right, it’s a boy. Interesting! Is it accurate?
Since my first born is a boy, naturally everybody in the house is hoping for a girl for this second pregnancy. Even my coworkers said it’s a girl because I’m more moody than before, lol. I said, “What’s the connection?”
My OB/GYN said it’s still a long way before we can see the baby’s gender, perhaps another 6 weeks from now. Let’s see whether the Chinese calendar is correct. As for me it doesn’t matter whether it’s a girl or a boy, I’m grateful enough that God rewards me with another baby this year. In fact, if it’s a boy, he will inherit all of his older brother’s belongings. Trust me, it’s gonna save a lot of money, lol. Anyway, if you curious about your pregnancy, here’s the calendar.
